Here’s How To Join the Changemakers Challenge

Step 1 – Build Your Team

Your team must consist of 3-6 team members, all under the age of 18. Please also ensure you have an adult supervisor to oversee your project.

Step 2 – Explore the UN SDGs

You will be linking your CAS Project Challenge to one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals. Research each of the 17 SDGs, their targets and progress in detail, and watch Emma Watson introduce some inspirational UN SDG student projects.

Step 3 – Identify an Issue in Your Local Community

Investigate what issues are currently affecting your community to help define what your team can focus your project on. Make sure you’re passionate about the topic!

Step 4 – Bring Your Changemakers Challenge to Life

Time to get to work! Remember, you will be submitting a video. Document your progress using photos and videos, right from the start.

Step 5 – Submit Your Project

Create a video – no longer than 180 seconds –  that shows: The problem you set out to solve, The solution that you came up with, How you implemented your solution, Which UN SDG(s) you covered, How you worked as a team, The impact your project had & how you measured it.

Submit your Changemakers Challenge by filling out the submission form and providing a link (YouTube, Vimeo etc.) to your video by 12pm CET on the 20th of December 2022!
